At the beginning of this year, 2026, I set out on a journey from California to the Vegas area. My life had changed significantly a couple of years before when God called my wife of 45 years home. My whole world had turned upside down. I was lost, to say the least. Although my son and his family remained in Southern California, they were actively planning to leave for brighter days in Arizona. My daughter and her family had already moved to the Las Vegas area a short time after my wife passed.
Understanding I would likely move to either Arizona or Nevada, to follow at least one of my children, I chose the closest option. After putting my California home on the market, I traveled to the Vegas area a number of times to see what was available. On my second trip to the valley, I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Chong. Mark took his time with me to fully understand and appreciate who I was, and what I really needed in my life at this point.
